Deutsch DT06-12SA-C015 12-Socket Receptacle Housing, Gray
Designed to the Deutsch DT series standard, the DT06-12SA-C015 delivers a 12-position receptacle connection in a compact, environmentally sealed package. Engineered for 13A continuous current at 250V and operating temperatures from -55 °C to +125 °C, the housing accepts Size 16 solid contacts (sold separately) and is rated to IP68 for dust ingress and continuous water immersion.
Typical Applications
The 12-position configuration is commonly specified for engine management sub-harnesses with grouped sensor and injector channels, as well as complex control-system harnesses on wheel loaders and telehandlers. Its combination of sealed construction and 13A continuous current capability makes it a versatile choice for both power and signal circuits.
Mating and Integration
The DT06-12SA-C015 mates directly with the DT04-12PA C015 on the opposite harness side, providing a fully sealed in-line connection. Push-to-seat solid contacts are crimped to the wire, then inserted into the housing from the rear until they lock into the cavity. A secondary lock wedge (where applicable to the DT series cavity arrangement) provides positive contact retention.
Where It Is Deployed
This configuration is commonly used in marine deck machinery, bilge systems, and outboard harnesses, as well as renewable-energy battery storage and utility-scale inverter cabinets. The IP68 sealed design tolerates engine-bay heat, under-chassis water splash, and chemical exposure typical of these environments.
